This project was a Systimax 2071 Cat6 Solution as well as a FutureFLEX air-blown fiber installation. Over 300,000 feet of Cat6 cable was used throughout the fourteen telecom rooms and the MDF. The backbone cable system tied the newly constructed UBLAW building to the Academic building across North Charles Street and included a 200-Pair OSP copper cable and 24-Strands of both multimode and singlemode air-blown fiber.
USMC MCIOC and MCNOSC Buildings
Quantico, VA

This project consisted of two buildings and construction mandated both buildings be completed concurrently. IET provided the manpower to deliver the project on a tight schedule. MCIOC consisted of seven 2-Strand 50/125 micron fiber cables and two Cat6 copper cables to each of the 260 floor boxes. This building had approximately 8,500 fiber terminations. OSP consisted of a 900-Pair and 300-Pair fiber routed through various manholes across the base. The MCNOSC building consisted of seven Cat6 cables to each of the 280 cubicles. This project was completed on time without delays.
NAVSEA Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense
Dahlgren, VA

The Aegis BMD project consisted of a complete building entrance facility, backbone distribution system, and horizontal distribution system. The two-story building utilized five telecom rooms and also one SCIF for the telecommunication systems. The backbone consisted of copper and both 50/125 micron multimode and single mode fiber to each of the five telecom rooms and the SCIF. The horizontal cabling was over 2,000 Cat 6 cables and over 3,000 50/125 micron fiber cables to each workstation. The project was completed in 6 months and on time.
Washington Navy Yard
Washington D.C.

This was a Design/Build project for building W111. Scope of work included identifying and removing the existing horizontal and backbone cabling systems. The five story building had nine telecom rooms throughout the building to accommodate the newly installed horizontal cabling system. The horizontal cabling consisted of over six hundred triplex workstations. This project required meeting NMCI requirements and standards for the installation, termination, and labeling of all installed cables.
Child Development Center
Quantico, VA

Installed over 1/2 mile of 100-Pair OSP cable and 12-strand singlemode fiber from building to splice in manhole. Installed 104 PTZ IP security cameras managed from a CISCO server and NVR - all viewable from a 42" monitor in the Director's office and three 24" monitors in the reception area. Installed 33 remote intercom stations in classrooms and a master intercom station at the reception desk. The master intercom also activated a barrier gate to allow entrance to the rear of the building for deliveries. Classrooms and offices throughout were equipped with voice and data jacks utilizing Cat6 cabling. This project was completed on time in 4 months.
US Capitol Hill Buildings
Washington D.C.

Design/Build project consisting of building a redundant fiber ring between twelve buildings, and thirty-seven telecom rooms. Project consisted of 25,000 APC fusion fiber splices. Installed intelligent IPATCH system. Project was completed and registered for the Commscope Systimax 25 year warranty.
Anacostia Senior High School
Washington D.C.

Provided and installed Cat6 cabling throughout the school for voice/data drops. IET also installed all cabling for connections to Smart Boards located in each of the classrooms. This project was completed on time in five phases.
